We recently had the opportunity to visit Pearl Academy’s Portfolio Showcase 2026 in New Delhi, and it was inspiring to witness the energy, ambition, and creative confidence of the graduating students. Spread across Pearl Academy’s Rajouri Garden campus and the Pearl Academy School of Business, South Campus, the showcase brought together young designers, creative entrepreneurs, industry professionals, recruiters, and global brand representatives under one platform.

What stood out to us most was the sheer range of work on display. Students from disciplines such as Product Design, Fashion Design, Fashion Communication & Styling, Textile Design, Interior Design, Communication Design & Product design presented projects that were not only visually compelling, but also deeply connected to real-world applications. The campuses had been transformed into immersive exhibition spaces, with runway presentations, interactive installations, and technology-led projects reflecting the growing convergence of design, business, and innovation.
A particularly strong takeaway from our visit was the role of AI as a creative collaborator. Across the showcase, students presented AI-integrated portfolios that explored practical, future-facing ideas, from smart systems and digital experiences to more human-centred design applications. It was encouraging to see how emerging talent is learning to work with technology not as a shortcut, but as a tool to expand imagination, efficiency, and impact.
The event also reflected the increasing importance of industry readiness in design education. According to the article, recruiters and leaders from major companies and brands engaged directly with students through portfolio reviews, feedback sessions, and hiring conversations. This kind of exposure is extremely valuable for young creatives, as it bridges the gap between academic exploration and professional practice.
At Desizn Circle, visits like these reaffirm something we deeply believe: the future belongs to students who can combine creative thinking, technical adaptability, communication skills, and cultural awareness. Pearl Academy’s showcase was not just a display of final-year work, but a reminder that design education today must prepare students to move confidently between studio, industry, and a fast-changing global creative economy.
We congratulate all the graduating students who showcased their work and appreciate Pearl Academy for creating a platform that celebrates experimentation, ambition, and the next generation of creative leaders.
