The first week of college is more than just orientation—it’s the true beginning of a journey that transforms lives. For the students of Desizn Circle, this week has been nothing short of exciting, inspiring, and full of discoveries as they stepped into some of the most prestigious design schools across the country. From NIFT, NID, IIAD, ISDI, UPES, BITS, ISDI ATLAS, The Design Village, to UID, our students have spread across campuses, each beginning their new chapter in design education.
A World of New Friendships

College life immediately opens doors to fresh connections. Many students shared how within just a few days, they found friends from different cities, cultures, and backgrounds. The shared passion for design became the bond that connected them, whether during sketching sessions, classroom ice-breakers, or late-evening campus walks. These early friendships are the roots of networks that will last a lifetime, often becoming collaborators, co-founders, or colleagues in the years ahead.
Discovering Pathways in Design
Though their journeys will take them into different specializations—Fashion Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, and more—right now, they are united by the foundation program. This stage is crucial, as it helps them build a common understanding of design thinking, material exploration, sketching, storytelling, and the fundamentals of creativity. For many, it is the first time they realize how vast and diverse the world of design truly is, extending far beyond what they imagined before college.
The Transformation Begins
What makes the first week remarkable is how it shifts perspectives. High school routines are replaced by studio projects, collaborative assignments, and critical thinking. Students are exposed to new mentors, cutting-edge workshops, and environments that celebrate experimentation. This early exposure not only builds confidence but also sparks curiosity about possible careers—whether in fashion houses, product innovation labs, digital interaction design, or global communication strategies.
Looking Ahead
As our students settle into their respective campuses, they carry with them the spirit of Desizn Circle—hard work, creativity, and resilience. The first week may only be the beginning, but it has already changed everything. They are no longer just students preparing for entrance exams; they are now young designers, stepping into a world of possibilities, friendships, and endless learning.
